On May 10, a promotion event for the second China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) was held in Budapest, Hungary. On November 28, 2023, the First China International Supply Chain EXPO (CISCE) and the Global Supply Chain Innovation and Development Forum was grandly opened in Beijing. The Hungarian Pavilion, hosted by the Ambassy of Hungary Beijing and organized by the Joint Laboratory of Digital Culture Trade, made a wonderful appearance at the First CISCE, focusing on trade and investment, cultural tourism, scientific and technological innovation.
The Sixth China International Import EXPO (CIIE) kicked off on November 5 in Shanghai. With the theme of “New Era, Shared Future”, the Expo is hosted by the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China and the Shanghai Municipal People's Government. The Joint Laboratory of Digital Cultural Trade appeared at the China Pavilion of the Expo as a cultural trade platform, presenting Chinese cultural masterpieces to convey the beauty of China’s intangible cultural heritage to the world.
In order to establish a better promotion platform for international cultural trade, promote the frontier technology and advanced mode of cultural trade, with the support of Beijing Tianzhu Comprehensive Free Trade Zone, Zigong City of Sichuan Province, and relevant governmental sectors in Zhejiang Province, the Joint Laboratory of Digital Cultural Trade was officially launched on Sep. 1, 2022 as one of the most important achievements at the Cultural Trade Forum co-hosted by the Ministry of Commerce, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, and the National Radio and Television Administration, PRC.
The Joint Laboratory is committed to playing the role of “Think Tank + Bridge + Platform”, and promoting international cultural exchanges and trade. Its main tasks include: to study and expand the application of new technologies such as 5G, artificial intelligence, blockchain, and ultra-high definition in the field of cultural trade, so as to transform and upgrade industrial chains, in light of the new trends in the development of digital technologies; to cooperate with leading enterprises and institutions in the field of cultural trade, to study relevant laws and regulations of international digital cultural trade, and to help formulate industry standards; to establish relations with domestic and foreign government departments, industry organizations and enterprises, and to innovate ways of foreign cooperation; to organize online and offline international digital cultural trade promotion activities, to optimize resources, brands and marketing channels, and to establish a promotion platform for international cultural trade.
Digital culture trade mainly includes: online games, online literature, online audio-visual, online music, online performance, digital film, digital animation, digital publishing, online broadcasting, e-sports, etc.
At present, the Joint Laboratory has more than over 30 partner institutions from home and abroad, including the Wejoin Platform, Ourpalm Co., LTD., Hangzhou Zhongnan Digital Culture Co., LTD., Hunan Caohua Interactive Technology Co., LTD., Liszt Institute Hungarian Cultural Center Beijing, Beijing International Studies University, Beijing Kepler Consulting Co., LTD., etc. In the future we will have more companies to join us.
